I’m not sure ethics is something that can or should be quantitatively measured (utilitarianism be damned). In our view, the drafters of the GDPR see the digitalization of human experience as inappropriately reductionist and have therefore inserted some safeguards against this tendency (e.g., right to human intervention in the case of algorithmic profiling).
